We're the USA
See
the pyramid there in the aisle;
See those naked Arabs in a pile.
Just remember, people, all the while,
We're the USA.
From Indonesia to beyond Algiers,
We'll show off our Muslim souvenirs.
This reminds me of those Viet Cong
ears.
We're the USA.
Where would you be without us?
Maybe we'll invade you, too--and you.
We can make the world a better place,
Putting evildoers in their place,
Or just giving Israel living space.
We're the USA.
David
Martin
To the tune of Patti
Page's "You Belong to Me,"
covered by Jo Stafford, The Duprees, Carla Bruni, and many others.
Hear “We’re the USA” performed in the style of Dean Martin by Buelahman.
