The system isnÕt as rigged as you think, and it isnÕt as
hopeless as you think.

The SystemÕs Less Rigged than You
Think It Is
To the tune of ŌWhat Kind of Fool Do You Think I AmĶ
by Lee Roy Parnell.
You
look at the ballots and you donÕt see a choice.
You
watch the TV and you donÕt hear your voice.
I
know they might treat you like youÕre just a dope,
But
IÕm here to tell you that you shouldnÕt lose hope.
ItÕs
not as rigged as you think it is.
ItÕs
just the way of our politics
biz.
YouÕve
got to keep thinking thereÕs a way you can win.
The
systemÕs less rigged than you think it is.
So
you voted for me because you hated war,
But
with drones and a surge I just gave you more.
So
with your vote, what did you gain?
You
kept all that power away from McCain.
ItÕs
not as rigged as you think it is.
ItÕs
just the way of our politics biz.
YouÕve
got to keep thinking thereÕs a way you can win.
The
systemÕs less rigged than you think it is.
Though
casting a vote just brought you sorrow,
DonÕt
give up hope; thereÕs always tomorrow.
You
looked at the ballots and you didnÕt see a choice.
You
watched the TV and you didnÕt hear your voice.
They
treated you often like you were a dope,
But
go out in the world and never lose hope.
ItÕs not as rigged as you think it is.
ItÕs
just the way of our politics biz.
YouÕve
got to keep thinking thereÕs a way you can win.
The
systemÕs less rigged than you think it is.
Oh,
itÕs not as rigged as you think it is.
ItÕs not as rigged as you think it is.
ItÕs
just the way of our politics biz.
YouÕve
got to keep thinking thereÕs a way you can win.
The
systemÕs less rigged than you think it is.
Oh,
itÕs not as rigged as you think it is.
