Bibi’s Clowns
(To the tune of “Cathy’s Clown” by the Everly Brothers)
Don’t say they represent me anymore
Can’t stand their kissing up, that’s for sure
I’m tired of having
This crowd around
But there they are, they’re Bibi’s clowns.
They ought to stand tall
But all they do is crawl
When we’re pulling all the weight
Why do they bow and scrape?
I’d like to can them all.
Don’t say they represent me anymore
Can’t stand their kissing up, that’s for sure
I’m tired of having
This crowd around
But there they are, they’re Bibi’s clowns.
He says “pay up,” they come
across
When it’s us who should be boss
Don’t you think it’s kind of sad
Just the way we’re being had?
I’m really at a total loss.
Don’t say they represent me anymore
Can’t stand their kissing up, that’s for sure
I’m tired of having
This crowd around
But there they are,
They’re Bibi’s clowns.
They’re Bibi’s clowns.
They’re Bibi’s clowns.
