Was extinguished the other day
When some faint-hearted folks in Cleveland
Gave the pink slip to Jaz McKay.

As a moderator of talk-shows
He stood on a pinnacle peerless.
Like or dislike his opinions,
You knew he was fair and fearless.

One station's gain in security
Is a legion of listeners' loss.
Too bad his indominatable courage
Wasn't shared by his boss.
