Capitalist or socialist?
What is our dominant "ism"?
Let us not deceive ourselves,
We're a narco-despotism.

Weighing all the evidence,
I've reached the firm conclusion
Our framework of democracy
Is nothing but illusion.

You will think the same as I
If you are but willing
To look at what our cops have done
With drug-related killing.

Folks who have the right connections
Have the right to kill,
And to protect their secret trade
They've shown us that they will.

And should it be on Muirkirk Lane
Or in Fort Marcy Park,
Our leaders and our media
Will keep us in the dark.
