Go Donkeys

The Democrats don't have a homecoming queen,
They are not in any sense royal.
Whoever points out the crimes of their leader
Should not be considered disloyal.

Governance isn't a football game,
Don't think there's a home team to root for,
And a championship in defense of "our guys"
Is an unworthy target to shoot for.

But they still take on faith their party's line
To be spared of the trouble of thinking,
And proudly the streamers of ignorance fly
While the ship of state keeps on sinking.
