Insulated Education
by DCDave

They are students well-sheltered
From our country's deep trouble.
They're at my alma mater
'Neath the Davidson bubble.

To them it's sufficient
To believe they're the best,
While they keep their whole focus
On the next graded test.

From the fountain of wisdom
They have learned not to drink.
They've discovered it's safer
To be told what to think.

No, wait, that last statement
I must hereby amend:
They don't change their thinking;
For their profs they pretend.
