Could there be some really important news
That our major news folks will not report?
Presented with one quite compelling example,
Here is one newsman's immediate retort:

"I'm sure it could not be all that important.
If it were, our press would have rushed to report it."

By his radio caller he refused to be bested;
He repeated the theory that he won't let be tested,
And thus led his audience further into confusion,
From ill-founded premise to faulty conclusion.
