Want the feds to take a bow
For sparing us the tedium
Of too much who, what, when, and how.

Most of all, they seem relieved
That to the suspect there was not
A hint of a connection made
To a bigger, wider plot.

So please forget the witnesses
Who saw McVeigh that day and more,
And add an almost-lone-crazed man
To our assassination lore.
